"Diaobai" is a white block or crystalline powder that is soluble in water. It is relatively stable at room temperature and can decompose sulfite at high temperatures. It has strong reducing properties and therefore has a bleaching effect. At temperatures above 80 ℃, it begins to decompose into harmful substances. The chemical equation of the reaction is: 6NaHSO2 · CH2O · 2H2O+3H2O=4NaHSO3+2HCOONa+HCOOH+2H2O+3CH3OH. At 110 ℃, it decomposes into formaldehyde, and the reaction equation is: NaHSO2 ˙ CH2O=NaHSO2+CH2ONaHSO2+H2O=NaHSO3+2 "H" It can cause fever, headache, fatigue, loss of appetite, etc. A single dose of 10g poses a life-threatening risk. "Diaobai" is mainly used in the printing and dyeing industry as a dyeing agent and reducing agent. Its bleaching and anti-corrosion effects are more obvious.
